The Fuengirola International Fair (La Feria Internacional de Los Pueblos) is one of the most anticipated events of the spring on the Costa del Sol. With over 1 million visitors per year, the Fair is a great way to learn about cultures from around the world without leaving the Costa del Sol. The five day cultural festival hosts over 33 countries and will feature music, dance and foods from all over the world. Spanish regions such as: Madrid, Basque Country and Valencia will be represented this year as well.
Entrance to the event is free of charge but there is a small fee for food and drinks at the "casetas" or booths, which are allocated to each of the participating countries. Aside from international food and drink, you can buy all sorts of crafts, clothes, art and souvenirs. Each day the festival starts at 13:00 and runs through the night. Be sure to show your spirit by dressing in your own national attire and have fun dancing to international music and celebrating the cultures from around the globe.
