Fuengirola Fair Feria del Rosario

The Fuengirola Fair Feria del Rosario 2011 in honor of the Virgen el Rosario takes place from October 6th to 12th. The biggest attraction of this fair is the horse with plenty of exhibitions on horses, singing and flamenco dancing, bullfighting and activities in the fairground tents.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

THURSDAY OCTOBER 6

8:00pm - Mass in honor of the Virgen del Rosario Coronada.

9:30pm - Fair opening speech (Palacio de la Paz, fairgrounds).

10:30pm - Lighting inauguration of the feria (Palacio de la Paz, fairgrounds).

11:00pm - Municipal choir and dance group from Fuengirola performance at Palacio de la Paz. Free entrance.


FRIDAY OCTOBER 7

Festivities in honor of our Lady the Virgen del Rosario Coronada, Honorary mayor.

10:30am - Flamenco mass outdoors at the main square Plaza de la Constitución. Procession of the Virgin, Nuestra Señoradel Rosario Coronada, begins after the events, accompanied by the Horn and Drum Band and the Fuengirola Municipal Band.

Parade Itinerary: Plaza de la Constitución, Avda. Condes San Isidro, Camino de Coín, Avda. Juan Gómez “Juanito”, C/ Hnos. Pinzón, Avda. Condes de San Isidro, Plaza de la Constitución and then return to the church.

10:30pm - Performance by Hombres G

5:30pm – Bullfight with Manuel Díaz "El Cordobés", Daniel Luque, Jiménez Fortes and bulls from the Salvador Domecq farm.

Place: Plaza de Toros.

Ticket sales: Tickets from 25 euro to 110 euro sold after 6 October, at bullring box office

Telephone: 952 46 97 45, from 11:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 19:30. The day of the bullfight the box office will remain open from 11:00am until the fight begins. Credit cards accepted only until one hour before the fight.
