Enforex Summer camps

by Gillian
(England)

I am thinking of spending two weeks in Marbella next year with my seven year old Grandson and want him to practise his Spanish.

Can anyone tell me what is the general feelings on the Enforex Summer camps in the area? Also could anyone advise me of a medium priced, clean Hotel we could stay?

Thanks for any help or advise from a not so good on the computer Grandma.

Enforex summer camp
by: Martina

Today was our first day in summer camp Enforex. I enrolled our son 7 years old in English lessons. Summer camp is totally over the top of Elvira. (20-25 minutes to Marbella center). It is located in the German school, which has a swimming pool, playground, gym, dining room and plenty of space around it.
My feelings on this camp are mixed. When we came in today, they asked the child's name and explained that he must go down to the children and that there are coordinators who have white or red shirt. We parents were not allowed to go with it!
That we did not like. We did not know what it looks like, who care for children, where they eat, what their daily schedules, phone number ..... nothing. We insisted that we wanted to see and we would like to explain everything to our son as well. The lady insisted that we simply can not.

We had to order a person who is responsible for summer camp and we had chat with him for about 20 minutes that we do not like this, and why parents do not give insight into space, it does not make a person a sense of confidence.

Shorten this whole story. We agreed to try it one day if our son likes it.
As it is everywhere, even here, there are people who are not properly in place and they should look for a job somewhere else. Children are not sheep. I am disappointed that especially in such a camp where there are a lot of children from other countries, and each speaks a different language are not open to parents.

How do they learn the language can not say. At the end we were shown where the classes are, but you do not have contact with teachers. We were told that after 1 pm when teaching ends, we have a chance to talk out with the teacher.

Otherwise the other coordinators look nice, they are all very young. The camp has a lot of them. They also have a sweets shop, which I do not like, but understand that children who sleep in the camp ever want to buy something sweet.

So, feeling confused, maybe a few days feeling better. Someone better type for summer camp in Marbella?

My son will join this camp next week for two weeks. We were there two days ago just to have look. Looks good everysting. Lot of staff there, most of young people. But that is all what i can say for now. Make sure, you will have a car, because the camp is on top of the hills.
