The Tiny Dog Hotel, Marbella: Antoinette and Joe work really hard to give all the dogs a lot of love and attention. We have a 2 year old dog called Billy and he loves going here. It's difficult to walk him down their drive, he is so keen to get away from his Mum and Dad to get in the hotel 👍🏼🐾 We are really protective of Billy and would not be comfortable leaving him in most places but whenever he goes here we can rest and enjoy our time away without worrying at all. The services offered are fantastic and very good value. They even offer a collection and drop off service which is so helpful. We've just got Billy back and he's looking really well and smells beautiful after his bubble and ozone spa bath. Thank you Antoinette and Joe. You've made our 6 months in spain really easy with looking after our boy so kindly and professionally. I wish we had a hotel like this at home in The UK.

Tinny dog hotel

Don't go to Tiny dog hotel. I arrived at 20:15. Instead of 20:00 as my ferry back from Tanger was late and they charged me a 40 euros fee!!!! They suggested I should go and get my dog back the day after as it was going to be cheaper. If the owners are not able to empathise with you in such situation I wonder how good can they be with your dog. As soon as I complained about the fee they became rude. Really nasty people!!!!

I have taken our cat to Posh pets three times now and we are very happy with the facilities/service.
The rooms are huge and spotless, they have a radio and heaters, the staff have been very caring and professional....
And a big thank you for the Facebook pictures over xmas.

I just have to thank the contributors on here for their input.

After the reviews I visited 4 of the kennels that were recommended then decided on Posh Pets without a single hesitation.
I used Posh Pets last year to transport my animals from the UK - their service is just spot on so if anyone needs to transport their pets look no further than these guys!!
The boarding -Well this is a business that is so professional, caring and the facilities are just stunning & immaculate. I had photo updates of my pets holiday on their facebook page (posh pets spain) so I could see my dogs playing and looking so happy.

The dogs have paddling pools, playtimes, there is interaction with other pets which is what I wanted and asked for. I wanted my dogs to have a holiday and not be bored & forgotten about. I even got photos of my cat in the cattery!!
I could even see that my dogs had been groomed before I picked them up, all my gang were clean & nice smelling too.
The place is immaculate, the grounds are extensive its all for the animals. I could not review this place and its team more highly. They know exactly what a real fussy pet owner like me wants for her babies. It is just Perfect

Our dog is staying at the Tiny Dog Hotelthis summer, we have been leaving him there for years during all of our holidays and are so happy with the service and attention we recieve.

Our dog always comes back looking and smelling good. He is always happy to visit the Tiny Dog Hotel and is very well taken care of. They take out the dogs on daily walks through the countryside and they have cozy sleeping quarters in a warm home.

I can highly recommend the Tiny Dog Hotel. You wont be disappointed.

Cozy Kennels in San Roque are fantastic!!!!

We have used them time and time again over the years. Not only do they look after our pooches they also look out for us.

i liked the fact that our babies are not in 'kennels' rather log cabins with their own terrace, my boy gets a bit grumpy at times so when he's in a mood he has his own space in 'the family cabin'

They have a facebook page where i get regular updates when we are away, so we can always see what our boys are up to!!

We always have no hesitation in recommending POSHPETS, our two cats love their stay there, the rooms are spacious and very nice,

they have music and radiators which they do not charge you extra for like some other cattery's!!

and window's that slide open and closed for different weather conditions.

You just need to to take a look and compare.

I would definitely recommend Posh Pets Spain in Alhaurin el Grande. Rachel, Les and their team are just brilliant with our two dogs, we never ever worry about them when we are away. We totally trust them with our girls and they are so happy and excited when we enter the gates of Posh Pets. It's so lovely for us to know that our girls are loved and cared for there, and we really appreciate all the extras like the facebook updates and pics of them in the doggy pool. Couldn't recommend them more strongly.

I took my staffie to Poshpets for a week while I went back to London on a business trip and I turned
up early and unanounced to pick him up and only to find him playing in the orchard with another dog and a bloke from Poshpets training him on a see saw, WOW... I was so taken back by how much they care and how much my little mate had such a good time. Just look at the place and you can see that they truly put a lot of time/effort and invest in the place for the pets.

I left my dog there and everything was ok but I just have a feeling when I look at all their photos of being conned. They always seem very staged. Sat in a pool or on a pink lounger? My dog doesn't know it's a pink lounger that's to make the owner feel better or go Aaawwwww! as if I'm a bit thick and the whole chalet thing, again my dog doesn't know it's a little Heidi house with flower boxes. All set up for the owner, makes me suspicious but like I said my dog came back ok.

Wow! even before you see the kennels area the place looks amazing,the gardens are beautiful and their attention to detail proves that they really care about the place, the staff are happy to show you around and answer any questions. There is no smell and the areas where the dogs and cats live are immaculate. My 2 dogs and cat are always happy when I collect them and they have obviously been well cared for. I cannot recommend Cat and Dog World in Alhaurin el Grande highly enough.

We would never leave our dogs anywhere else except at Posh Pets. They care for Bertie, who isn't easy and our little puppy Roxy and without Posh Pets we just wouldn't go anywhere. We have used them for doggie day care to allow us some free time to shop etc, we have used them for pet travel for Bertie and Sylvester our cat and the service was first class. We also leave our pets for week ends away and holidays. Sometimes its short notice and we are nearly always changing our dates but its no problem for Rachel and Les who run it. We love all their facilities and we know that our pets are 100% happy staying in the little swiss chalets with their sunbeds, paddling pools and the individual attention that they receive while we are apart. Can't recommend Posh Pets highly enough. Thank you Rachel and Les.

Hi, we can highly recommend Posh Pets Spain. Our dogs (several of them) have been in their kennel during the years and always more than happy: Place is lovely, and staff couldn't be better! Absolutely super in all aspects. I know our dogs are happy to go there always. :-) Dog cottages and whole finca is lovely.
P.S. I even did "dog training (polite pets course)" there with one of our new rescue dog and he is always happy aswell to go there ever since. And they have their own grooming salon too! :) Very professionals with big heart.

Simply the best. If you are looking for short or long term pet boarding I have no hesitation in recommending Posh Pets to you. We have boarded our totally spoiled, slightly neurotic rescue pup with Rachel and Les for periods of up to a month with no ill effects whatsoever. Their staff are professional and caring, taking each animals individual needs in their stride. We never worry about Rosie when she is there and can travel with peace of mind.

The only place our dog will stay (except Grandmas)

My partner is completely neurotic about where our dog stays while we're away and after trying a few on the coast, the only place she (and the dog) are happy with is Posh Pets

When he stays there, Bailey has his own little wooden chalet in which to sleep with a paddling pool and sunlounger outside. He's a bit timid so they keep a special eye out for him at playtime and give him lots of cuddles. We especially love the fact that they keep us updated with photos on facebook if we're on a longer trip away. Their prices are in line with other kennels where the dogs get no personal attention at all and although we're happy to drive him up to Alhaurin ourselves, I think they will also collect from the Coast. It may sound over the top but if it wasn't for Posh Pets, we wouldn't ever go away without the dog!

Hi, I recommend JSM dog centre in Monda. They are absolutely fantastic and take great care of all the dogs they look after. The facilities that they have are amazing, all the dogs are walked really regularly. They are dog trainers so they r
eally know what they are doing. They have even got a pool for the dogs if it gets a bit hot!

They are a Swedish couple and they are so friendly and lovely. They also regularly post photos of the dogs that are staying with them when they take them out on walks, so whilst you're away you can see what they are up to and know that they are fine!

Dog and cat kennels in Mijas

I wonder if anyone can recommend a good kennel, and reasonably priced, which would be in the Mijas/Fuengirola/Alhaurin/Coin areas as I am near Mijas pueblo. I have 3 dogs and 1 cat. I have been told a lot of kennels are not licensed so want to be sure my pets are going to be happy and safe. Any recommendations would be extremely appreciated. Many thanks.

Sabine dog kennel Ojen

If you have a small dog then do try Sabine in Ojen. She will come and meet you at La Cañada and take your dog.

The large doggies stay in an outdoor style kennel but the smaller dogs stay in her house, sleeping on the sofa, bed etc. Home from home and our little dog loved it. They even have an outdoor swimming pool for the dogs to use in summer.

Finca with huge grounds for the dogs to run around but they are walked as well. We were very nervous leaving our little dog for the first time but she loved it. Her number is 699659946. You can go along first to check it out and she charges €15 per night (includes all the food). Our dog was returned bathed and looking fabulous!!!!

I dont know if its of interest as its a kennel but www.cat-and-dog-world.com I can reccomend. Its like being in a home. fabulous grounds, heated kennels if you chose, full human interaction every day - a doggy holiday not a prison! ?
