Costa Business Club bringing Speed Networking to the Costa del Sol

Networking has been popular on the Costa del Sol for many years, as a great way to get to know people, market your company, develop trust and build strong working relationships. To make networking even more effective for busy professionals, the Costa Business Club has introduced the popular format of Speed Networking to the area. This is a fast-paced, high-intensity form of networking which ensures that you will meet many people in just one meeting and get an overview of their business in a highly-structured way.

How does it work?

During a 2 hour speed networking event you can meet with up to 20 business people. Tables are arranged with two people per table at the start of the event. Each person has 3 minutes to explain their business.

After both people have spoken about their business, the organiser moves everyone on to the next table and another business relationship is formed. This is the perfect way for busy people to maximise their time and build positive, long-standing working relationships.

Founder Sandra Europe explains. “Speed networking is an efficient, fast and fun way to network. It works well for those people who find networking a challenge, as the structured format drives you to speak to new people and explain your business in a concise, persuasive way. It is also very popular with busy company owners who need to maximise the effectiveness of networking and don’t have the time for leisurely lunches.

Before and after the meetings you can build on the relationships you have made in the speed networking sessions in a more in-depth manner. It’s a format that has been popular in the UK for some time and which I introduced to Mallorca a few years ago. Since our inaugural event in September, it’s really catching on and we’re having to limit the numbers to 26 people to enable efficient and productive networking. We look forward to welcoming new people along to give it a try and see how well it can work for their business.”

The next event will be held on Monday 29th November at Mozaic Restaurant in El Rosario from 12.00. To find out more and book your place, email or visit for more information about speed networking.
