It's time to get out and watch the Christmas lights in Marbella and San Pedro. The city is holding three different illumination events: two in San Pedro de Alcantara and one in Marbella city center.

On Thursday December 1st at 8:30pm the inauguration of the Christmas Lights will be held in San Pedro de Alcántara on Plaza de la Iglesia and Plaza del Pueblo de Istán. At 10:30 that morning you are invited to see the inauguration of Santa's House (Casa de Papá Noel) and the Municipal Nativity scene on calle Córdoba. Children are invited for free rides installed on Plaza del Pueblo de Istán.

On Thursday December 1st at 7:30pm the inauguration of the Christmas lights will be held in Marbella on Calle Enrique del Castillo. In the Parque de la Alameda you are invited to the inauguration of Santa's Grotto and the Municipal Nativity Scene. Santa will have a mailbox, so children may write letters to him and receive an answer. Don't forget to include your name and address amd you will get a reply!
Free chocolate and rosquillas (Spanish cookies) and free rides for all the children at Parque de la Alameda.

Marbella's Municipal nativity scene and Santa's Grotto are located on Parque de la Alameda (Alameda Park) and will be inaugurated on Thursday December 1st, followed by performances from Danzart from Laude San Pedro International School.

No, you are correct. It is 7:30. My mistake. Will fix it now. Sorry about that. I was up late at night translating all of this and think my eyes started to cross!
