Choir & Orchestra of Collegium Musicum

The Choir and Orchestra, Collegium Musicum Costa del Sol, conducted by Annemarie Philipps takes great pleasure in inviting all lovers of classical music to their annual Christmas concerts.

The first concert is on Sunday, December 14th in Benalmádena Costa, at 20.00 hrs in the Church of Our Lady of Carmen (near Bonanza Square).
The second concert is on Tuesday, December 16th at 21:00 hrs in the Church of the Encarnación (Marbella Old Town).

The program will consist of various choruses from Bach’s Christmas Oratorio and Bruch’s well-loved Concerto No 1 for Violin & Orchestra. This was performed for the first time in 1868 and remains today one of the most performed concertos in the violin repertoire. The soloist will be Geoffrey Silver from the UK who for over two decades has been performing across the UK and abroad as soloist. He was recently described in the British press as “a prodigious talent”.

Entrance to both concerts is free.
