The Andalusian Artisan Cheese Festival 2010 in Teba (Feria Mercado del Queso Artesano de Andalucia) will be held this year from Friday October 1 to Sunday October 3 in the village of Teba. This village is located in the mountains just an hour and a half from Marbella.

If you like cheese, then you won´t want to miss this experience that has been attracting tourists to Teba for the last 10 years. Over 50 dairies form all over Andalusia as well as from other provinces gather to show their unbeatable quality homemade products.

More than 10,000 people are expected to attend the event, which will also include fun activities such as tastings, workshops, tours and more.

The festival is free of charge and will also include a prize giving ceremony.

The website is in Spanish, however, if you don´t speak Spanish, you may want to try and get more information on their Facebook page. With about 1,000 people invited and possibly looking at that page at one time or another, you´re bound to find someone who speaks English. So give it a go if you need some more information. We´ll be posting the new schedule as we get closer to October.
