The Carnival Nueva Andalucia is small...really small. What it lacks in size it makes up for in charm. This carnival focuses on kids and family. Many bouncy castle, parades and sweets and treat for the little ones.

The celebration of Carnival is a time where everyone dresses up in costume and participates in a number of activities offered by the Marbella Town Hall or Ayuntamiento de Marbella.

The so-called "Carnaval de Marbella" includes fun and entertainment in four different areas of the city:  Marbella Carnival, San Pedro de Alcantara Carnival, Nueva Andalucia and Las Chapas Carnival. The "Carnaval de Marbella" is celebrated every year and is a festive occasion for the entire family.

TIP: You may notice around this time of year costumes being sold in all the major supermarkets and smaller costume shops or flamenco stores. Why not pick one up and join in on the festivities?
