Carnaval | San Pedro de Alcantara

Carnaval Season is here in Spain so it is a time for each city to celebrate. Below is the official schedule for this year's festivities in the town of San Pedro de Alcantara.


TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 21

17.00 H. Don't come without your Carnival costume !!!
The Casita de Carnaval will be located in Plaza Juan Macías
Specialized monitors will help the girls to make beautiful costumes with stationery and recycling, so they can participate in the different parades that will take place in our carnival.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 22

11.00 h.- Children's Competition of Chirigotas de San Pedro Alcántara, at the Centro Cultural Trapiche de Guadaiza.
Prize a Children's Party, to the school that wins.

17.00 H. Do not stay without your Carnival costume !!!
The Casita de Carnaval will be located in the Boulevard San Pedro (beginning area Avda. Luis Braile).
Specialized monitors will help the girls to make beautiful costumes with stationery and recycling, so they can participate in the different parades that will take place in our carnival.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 23

17.00 H. Do not stay without your Carnival costume !!!
The Casita de Carnaval will be located in Avda. La Constitución (Plaza Pepe Santaella)
Specialized monitors will help the girls to make beautiful costumes with stationery and recycling, so they can participate in the different parades that will take place in our carnival.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 24

11.00 h.- Parade of Children's Humor, with the participation of different schools of San Pedro Alcántara, with the following route:
Departure Plaza de la Iglesia, c / Revilla, C / Lagasca, C / Jerez, C / Marqués del Duero, C / Hernán Cortes, C / 19 October.

17.00 h.- Parade Children's carnival, exit of the Church Square, C / Lagasca, C / Jerez, C / Marqués del Duero, C / Córdoba, C / Pepe Osorio, Avd. Oriental and Plaza de la Iglesia.
Then, Children's Costume and Children's Party Contest in the Plaza de la Iglesia.
Registration will be made one hour before the start of the Fiesta.

SATURDAY FEBRUARY 25

17.30 H.- Carnival humor parade of San Pedro Alcántara, with the following route:
Exit C / Vega del Mar, C / Marques de Estella, Avd. Constitución, C / Andalucía, C / Lagasca, Avd. Luis Braille, C / Pepe Osorio, Avd. Oriental and Plaza de la Iglesia.
Then adult costume competition in the Plaza de la Iglesia.

SATURDAY MARCH 4

12.00 h.- Children's carnival in the playground Virgen del Rocío, with different activities for the little ones.

17.00 h.- Performances of the comparsa Antonio Martín and the chirigotas Kike Remolino, the Canijo de Carmona and Los Molina in the Plaza de Istán in San Pedro Alcántara.
