Benahavis family friendly restaurants

Wondered if anybody might have any good, child friendly dinner suggestions in Benahavis? I've heard it's the dining capital of the region, so we'd like to give it a try.... Any thoughts/suggestions?

We love taking our kids to the bodega for a drink and then heading to Chicos for tapas or Ruffinos for dinner-amazing value for money!

La Bodega. Is a great family bar hosts are Nikki and Howard it has a beautiful, child friendly courtyard for pre dinner drinks

Well we ended up at Rufinos; given the chance we would have tried them all but sadly its back to Jolly old England tomorrow. Anyhow, Rufinos was fantastic! I had lamb, on suggestion, and my wife had the garlic pork filet. Portions were huge as promised and the wait staff were very good at keeping our little one content (which is worth a ton)! Wine was excellent as well, and I would say well worth the trip and expense. Thanks again for all the suggestions!

La Cocina is a great spot. The staff are always really friendly and great with kids. My daughter is coeliac and they have been really helpful catering for her.

Agreed, Nicky. A popular place that my kids really enjoyed (for lunch) was Restaurante Rufino.

The best restaurant there is Los Abanicos - I wouldn't say any of them are extra child friendly but Spanish restaurants are in general.
