Anyone knows about a Club or association to play badminton in Marbella area preferably?

I am looking for the installations to play as well as for a group of people that might be interested in practising it.

Yo he intentando encontrar como jugar al badminton en la zona de Marbella y no he conseguido encontrar ningun sitio que tengas pistas de badminton. But I am really interested in renting for hours whereever is available. I am missing badminton!!

I play badminton in Hungary (amateur) and I like it very much! Badminton in Marbella?

I am trying to get the sports centre in San Pedro to paint the lines on the court because they have all the facilities and do allow renting of courts but since they re-surfaced the whole gym they have not repainted the lines for Badminton. I'll let you know how that turns out as well.

The only thing I´ve found are Badminton classes in Estepona which I´m enjoying. I will speak to the teacher this evening to find out if she knows of any groups, clubs, mix-ins, and post again on here.

We play, in inverted commers, badminton in England and
Would love to play in spain. We live part time at la mairena, elviria. We are just rebuilding our house which was burnt down in last years big fire. We will be over there in two
Weeks time and hope we have a roof so we can stay at the
House. We have been staying in the alanda hotel on and off for the past few months.

Well, as its our neck of the woods, we thought we'd better try and answer this one, but its trickier than we thought! There is a Sports Hall (Pabellon Cubierto) that offers Badminton in LAS CAÑADAS, in Fuengirola, not far from the Lidl on the Mijas Road, but on the other side of the careterra.

You can get the details from the Mijas Town Hall site here, BUT there is also a private Badminton Escuela in Benalmadena. www.badmintonbenalmadena.com

I really don't think there is one. I don't know of any courts anywhere... However I do remember seeing that they did kids and possibly adults lessons-sessions in the Estepona council run activities booklet. It includes the gym, swimming football clubs that they do in the borough. Hope that helps but you shouldn't hold out much hope, it's not a Spanish sport.
