Laura Howard

Hello, I am a UK qualified Early years teacher with 11 years’ experience.

I am available to teach Foundation Stage or KS1 children. I am also available to tutor English (phonics and early reading skills) and early maths skills.

I am passionate about teaching phonics and developing children's early reading skills. I have extensive experience using the Letters and Sounds programme, Jolly Phonics and Read, Write Inc. I make learning fun by playing games and tailoring the lessons to the children's interests and needs.

I have taught most recently in an international private school where I had children in my class who spoke no English at the beginning of the year and through extra tutoring lessons after school they learnt to talk, read and write in English very quickly.
