On Saturday February 19, 2011 the I Aerobic Gymnastics and Dance Meet in Marbella will be held at the Palacio de Feria y Congresos at 6:00pm. This event brings together many of Marbella´s dance academies and includes approximately 300 participants and 1,000 spectators.

The Aerobic Gymnastics and Dance Meet is comprised of two parts: Exhibition (aged 2 - 70) and Competition, which includes dance and sport such as flamenco, zarzuela, tango, hip-hop, capoeira and martial arts.

This event lasts three hours and is offering a lottery with a chance to win t-shirts, hats, free nights stay in hotels, dinners in local restaurants and other prizes.

The winners of the competition will win a master class with professionals, 1,500 euros in gift certificates at the dance academy and free entrance to the Fitness Exhibition taking place in Marbella on June 3 - 5, 2011, which will be attended by the largest companies in Spain and worldwide in the sport, health and wellness industries.

unable to get through

I have been calling this number 952 761185 all day yesterday and I got through to one person who told me to call an hour later. After that no one answered. And this morning, still, no one is answering. If you get a chance, try calling yourself. Maybe you´ll have better luck. I will keep trying and see if I get through.

I don´t think it would be a problem to bring children. This competition unites children from dance schools in the area so there will definitely be children their age. Hopefully, they´re good and will inspire your kids. I wouldn´t worry about this, so if you´re ready, take a chance and enjoy the show.

Dance show in Marbella

I managed to find out that tickets cost 12 euros, but I was given another phone number to to call for more details. The number is busy now, but I´ll continue to call till I get through.

Because this is a three hour event, I would expect that maybe it might be difficult for very young children to tolerate. What I´ll find out is if it´s informal enough that you could get up and leave without disturbing too much as well as the order of events.

Me and my kids also love dance shows, so I know what you´re aiming for. I´ll find out as many details as I can and post it here.

IS IT A FAMILY EVENING OUT

Can anyone attend and how much is the entrance fee as a spectator. Is it a good evening out for family? My children love dance shows on tv and both love hip hop and break dancing. Thank you
