* The Great Nutrition Company

If you're diabetic, you will want to know about the products offered by The Great Nutrition Company located right here in Marbella. Food for thought that I recently discovered on their site:"No, Diabetics Type 1 (and type 2) should NOT consume sugar of any kind (anything ending in "-ose" including fructose/dextrose/sucrose) nor sugar alcohols (-anything ending in '-ol' i.e malitol/xylitol). For those not in the know, 'Stevia' is plant based and is thus fructose (and does produce an insulin response)." - Dr PB Swarbreck (MB.BCh.Rand , B.Sc Hons Natal) Click here to read more…

TIP: They also have other products that aid in weight loss, candida, ADHD, sugar cravings and more.

* Impact Gym

Great kids kickboxing and martial arts classes offered at Impact Gym in Marbella. Seriously, the best kept dojo on the Costa del Sol. If you want to get fit before the holidays, you can try out their adult classes too - Kickboxing, Boxing, MMA, Self Defence and 1-2-1 personal sessions. Click here to read more...

TIP: This is a great after school activity particularly in winter when it rains. Classes are never canceled due to the weather!

* Osaka Japanese restaurant

The kids had the best time at the tepanyaki table at Osaka Japanese restaurant in Cancelada last weekend. The best place for sushi, tepanyaki shows and Japanese cuisine. Check out the short clip of the tepanyaki show. You won't believe what they do with their food. Click here to read more...

TIP: Located just 15 minutes from Marbella and definitely worth the drive. It’s our favorite sushi bar!

* Atletico Las Chapas football club

Atletico Las Chapas is a great football club for both boys AND girls from as young as 3 years old to 14 years old. This is a fantastic pitch with a covered cafe and playground for moms and siblings to hang out in while kids are training. If your kids haven't given a go at football yet, or are keen to start, this is the place to go. Click here to read more...

TIP: They are great at communicating with parents on their Facebook page. Check it out and Like it!
