Andalusia Day, Día de Andalucía in Spanish, is a holiday celebrated only in the region of Andalucia to commemorate the referendum for Andalucia to become an autonomous community within Spain, which was held on February 28, 1980. This day is celebrated every year on February 28th.

* Need childminder

One of our readers needs to hire some help around the house and asks:

” I need a nanny to care for 2 children, 4 days a week from now. My kids are 6 and 4 years. I need someone who drives like a couple of days I will need my oldest son picked up from school. I will leave my car.

It will include a week-end night 3-4 hours. My children are Spanish but the nanny should speak in English all the time with them. If anyone can help or can recommend someone please let me know

"We just moved from Germany to Marbesa and are looking for a school for our daughter. Back in DE she went to Kindergarten, but i heard that she must go to a Colegio here. So far we know theres a german school in La Mairena, and a private school in Elviria. Anything else?

We would also like to meet families with kids aged 4-5."

i am looking for 50+ young trees such as mulberries, white and black ,golden kiwis, pakistani mangos, pistachios, to be honest a selection of tropical and rare fruits for my garden orchard to be.

I would appreciate suggestions, and basically your thoughts about my plan and its practicality, and obviously your recommended nurseries. thanks"”

” Hi. We are coming to stay in Puerto Banus in a week's time and we're are looking for activities to do with our kids (8 yrs, 6 yrs and 21 months). Obviously we are coming out of season so we really need to find some things to do if it's raining! We came last year and had a lovely time, but it rained for 2 days and we struggled to find activities for the kids.
