* Be vigilant
A little warning from an experience of one of our friends: "Today I was robbed on the boulevard in San Pedro. I was walking with Lily our dog. Suddenly a charming guy comes from a terrace with a beautiful dog, same type as Lily. He starts talking about my dog, the dogs say hello and before I realised my driving licence (that I keep in a holder together with some money) in my bag was gone." Click here to read more...
Unfortunately, this is a reminder that we all need to be a little vigilant when we are out and about, particularly as summer rolls around. Never leave your handbags hanging on the back of your chair, keep your money separated in different pockets/compartments (not all in one wallet) and stay vigilant in parking lots or areas of large traffic.
TIP: Check out the police station opening hours in case you need it.
