* Christmas flamenco concert
Christmas flamenco concert ‘De Jerez a Belén’ will be held on December 20th starting at 20.30 at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos in Marbella to raise funds for the charity Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer (Spanish Association Against Cancer). If you like dance, attend the free concert Dance4Life at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos in Marbella. This concert starts at 6:00pm and is open to the public to bring awareness of HIV and to commemorate International AIDS Day. Every Sunday in December from 12:00pm to 6:00pm visit the Christmas Market at the Puerto Deportivo (sports port) in Marbella for a very special chance to buy local handmade gifts for friends and family. * Swans School art exhibition
Opportunities to display student artwork in prestigious surroundings are understandably rare; hence it is with great enthusiasm that Swans School has accepted an invitation to show examples of recent artistic activity at the Kasser Rassu gallery. Shahed Kavousi and Ahmed Ashmawi have been kind to offer Swans the use of their Kasser Rassu Gallery-Showroom for an exhibition on Friday, November 30th @ 8pm-11pm! Submissions were called for from all Swans students in years 1 to 13, proposing work in any medium and stressing that the work need not be produced during school time, but might reflect independent productivity. * Lunch of Wishes
The annual 'Lunch of Wishes' supporting local orphan kids is now selling for the 4th of December at 12:30pm at the Restaurante La Meridiana. It's a fun and helpful event every year with great raffle prizes and the full Christmas spirit. Menu includes cava reception, turkey and trimmings, dessert, wine, beer, soft drinks and coffee.
