* Marbella country clubs

One of our readers is looking for a country club recommendation and asks, ”We'll be in Marbella with our two kids (4 and 8 years old) for the whole of June and July. We are looking to join a Country Club to have a place to go out for lunch/exercise (tennis/golf)/drinks AND to be able to drop off the kids at a "kid room/club".

Does anyone have any recommendations for a Country Club that a family could use, but not to have to stay overnight (we have our own accommodation). My online research seems to be coming up with a lot of mature golf clubs...

Thank you in advance for any suggestions!”

* Chowka restaurant

We have received another great review from our favorite restaurant critic Morris Bishop. Today's choice - Chowka. A new Indian restaurant on the Golden Mile. ”About a month ago, Chowka opened its doors to an unsuspecting public as to what would replace the Polo Club on the ‘Golden Mile’ in Marbella. The pre opening adverts promised a new experience in Indian dining, with ‘tapas’ dishes for sharing. We were a party of six eagerly looking forward to a gastronomic adventure into a new type of Indian cuisine.”

Have you been to Chowka? Tell us what you think too. Do you agree with Morris or have you had an alternative experience? Click here to read more…

TIP: Do you have a restaurant that you would like to recommend...or warn us about? Tell us about it! Our readers want to know.
