* Performance opportunities for the kids

Last Saturday I took my daughter to try out two interesting classes offered by Julie Curran - a qualified drama teacher from the UK who has been preparing students for the LAMDA exams for the last 9 years.

The first is the Estepona Youth Theatre group, which is organizing a performance of a Christmas Wizard of Oz in December. The second is a training program offered to children who are interested in taking the LAMDA exam (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art).

* Last weekend for the water parks

Most water parks are closing for October, so this weekend is your last chance to get the kids out for the last hurrah! We took the kids last weekend so happy to find the park half empty. * New eco adventure park opens

Yesterday, the mayor of Marbella inaugurated the opening of Aventura Amazonia - new eco-adventure park in the Las Chapas of Marbella. This 120,000 square meter park combines the concepts outdoor recreation, adventure, education on respect for nature and physical activity fun.

Aventura Amazon offers 73 different attractions with bridges, jumps, zip lines and ladders in between the trees in the forest area. There are also 20 zip lines in eight different adventure tours. It also boasts the largest zip line in Andalusia at 240 meters with a speed of 60 km / h! Click here to read more...
