* Strawberry season is here!

On my trip to the San Pedro street market yesterday I was so pleased to see strawberries everywhere. If you like this juicy red fruit, then make sure you hit the market and buy a kilo or two. Prices are at about 3 euros per half kilo, but the rate will come down as the weeks go by.

In this trip I decided to buy two different types of strawberries. Some from Huelva that were big and bright red (freson) and some from Ronda that were bright red too, but a bit smaller (fresa). They both turned out to be delicious, but in a taste survey in our home the little red ones (fresa) won out as more sweet. Click here to read more...

* How´s the weather in Marbella?

The weather in Marbella has been great for the last several weeks. We´ve been averaging highs of 18 and everyone has been engaging in outdoor activities and eating on the beach as if it were springtime already.

Unfortunately, we are due for rain all next week! :( So if you´re planning on a holiday in Marbella next week, remember to bring some light rain gear. The good news is that temperatures shouldn´t drop too low, regardless of all the rain. We´ll be having averages of 15 degrees. If you´re interested in the weather in Marbella during other times of the year, check out our Marbella weather guide. Click here to read more...
