* Interschool football tournament

Next Wednesday March 19th more than 700 students will be travelling from as far as Rota and Almuñecar to compete in Sotogrande International School’s Inter-school football tournament at the school’s El Rio football pitches. 11 international schools are competing in this fun and motivating event in the beautiful setting of the Santa Maria Polo fields. * CF Inter Marbella football club

CF Inter Marbella Football Club is enjoying competing in the Marbella Local League at U-10, U-12 and U-14 age groups with boys and girls competing for places in all the teams!

Boys and girls are welcome to join the club for training twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5pm. All are welcome to try out their skills and they are particularly looking for U-12 players this month! Click here to read more…

Funtastic Gymnastics is adding new classes to their timetable, so the fun for boys and girls can continue!

Tuesdays 4.30pm - 5.30pm Beginners - Ages 4+

Tuesdays 5.30pm - 6.30pm Intermediate/Advanced Gymnastics ages 7+

Thursdays 4.30pm Ages 4+

Additional sessions: Immediate/Advanced - Tuesdays 5.30-6.30pm (7 years +)

New sessions starting on Saturday 26th April for beginners, intermediate & advanced gymnastics and an additional tumbling session. Parents need to contact us to book their child in.

Starting Saturday 26th April 2014

10am - 11am - Beginners Gymnastics Ages 4+

11am - 12noon - Intermediate/Advanced Gymnastics

Restaurant critic Morris Bishop is on a roll checking out all the local restaurants in town. This week he reviews Gio’s restaurant. Check out what he has to say about this eatery:

”This is one of those eateries that ‘opens early, closes late’ and serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and everything in between.

They seat some 30 inside and 50 on the terrace, plus a pleasant lounge/bar area.

Open for about 4 years, the owner, Giovanni devised a special menu for the CD offer that reflected the budget element of the deal, but having had sight of their extensive normal menu, it certainly would be a rarity not to find something to please.” Click here to read more…
