* Andalucia nature walk through Serrato and Ardales

Registration is now open at Marbella Town Hall for the next hike with Salida Abierta on Sunday November 28th through the areas of Serrato and Ardales.

This 12 kilometer hike on the GR-7 which connects Tarifa with Atenas is of medium difficulty and costs only 12 euros, which includes transportation, guides, and accident insurance. There is no better bargain out there! Click here to read more...

One of our readers asks: "We arrive very late into Malaga airport on christmas eve would their be any supermarkets or small shops where we could buy food that eve or on christmas day. Would we have trouble getting a restaurant on christmas day. we are staying about 20 minutes from marbella."

* Quiz night in San Pedro

Join the fun at Quiz Night held twice a week at Hogan Stand Irish Pub in San Pedro de Alcantara, just a few minutes from Puerto Banus. Quiz Night takes place every other Thursday at 8:00pm.

Quiz Night is led by Hannah who creates a quiz format that includes eight rounds on a variety of subjects from literature to food to entertainment and includes a picture round as well. * El Corte Ingles opens on Sundays in December

The holidays are nearly here and some of the stores in Marbella keep shop open for longer hours so that we can keep on shopping. El Corte Inglés in Marbella keeps their doors open a whole extra day during the week. Shopping can continue on Sundays for the whole month of December this year. Normally, El Corte Inglés is closed on Sundays (except in Summer), so everyone gives three cheers for an extra day of Christmas shopping in December. Hip hip hurray! Click here to read more...


* Rainy days are made for bowling

It rained yesterday and is supposed to rain again today, although I still haven´t seen a drop of rain. Just dull gray skies. And more rain is predicted for all of this weekend.

So what do you do with the kids in Marbella when the days are like this? One of our favorite things to do on days like these is go bowling. * Good Morning Marbella!

The weather is definitely changing here now and it´s expected to rain all weekend...great, just as I have guests arriving! Here are a couple of shots of the San Pedro boardwalk. If you look hard enough you can just make out Gibraltar, which was surprisingly clear today, given the gray skies we are having.

The Wish List Fund is organizing a Charity Christmas lunch on Tuesday December 14th at 12:30pm at the Marbella Golf and Country Club. This lunch seeks to bring awareness of the funds Toys for All project, which encourages everyone to sponsor a child to make their Christmas wish list a reality. The Wish List Fund is holding this benefit lunch to help disadvantaged children from the Ciudad de los Niños charity, Casa Abril, Marbella Voluntaria and the Materno Infantil Hospital in Málaga.
